Your questions, answered.
The things every client asks before booking — and a few more they wish they had.

You won't pose. We direct.
Our method uses gentle prompts and small actions — a walk together, a shared joke, a quiet glance between you — that pull you out of camera-mode and into your story. Stiff posing happens when a photographer asks you to be something. We ask you to do something, and the moment takes care of itself.
Most clients tell us they forgot the camera was there about ten minutes in. The result is what we call cinematic lifestyle: stills that look like they were captured between takes of a film, not arranged for one.

Three days. Standard.
Every cinematic session is delivered in three days through a private online gallery — fully edited, ready to download, share, and print. Most of the industry takes one to three weeks. You'll be sharing your photos before your tan fades.
If your trip is shorter and you want them faster, we offer 24-hour express delivery as an add-on for $50.

We reschedule, no charge, no drama.
Riviera Maya weather can shift in an afternoon. If rain or a storm makes the session impossible, we move it to the next available slot during your trip — at no cost. Light overcast we usually keep, because soft light is actually beautiful for cinematic stills (you'd be surprised how many of our best shots came from a "bad" weather day).
-
A full edited gallery — typically 70 to 150+ photos, depending on your package. Every photo we keep is professionally edited (color graded, retouched where needed). We don't pad galleries with near-duplicates.
The “Roots Cinematic” package (60 minutes) also includes one cinematic Reel scored to music — a 30-to-60-second short film of your session, ready to post.

Especially with kids.
We don't ask children to sit still and smile. We let them be — running, laughing, climbing on a parent — and capture them in motion. The "outtakes" with kids are usually the photos parents end up framing.
For families with toddlers, we recommend the 60-minute “Roots Cinematic” package over the 30-minute option. It gives us the breathing room a child's mood needs.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no — and we know which is which.
Some resorts in Cancún and Playa del Carmen charge an external vendor fee for outside photographers. We've worked across most of them and we'll tell you upfront whether yours does, and what the alternatives are.
If your resort charges, we'll suggest a free public beach just a short drive away — Playa Delfines, Playa 88, or somewhere private and beautiful you didn't know existed. Sometimes those locations end up better than the resort itself.
-
A $50 deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is paid the day of the session, in cash (USD or MXN) or via transfer.
Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance get a full refund of the deposit. Inside 48 hours, the deposit holds your spot for a one-time reschedule.
You can book directly through any package page, or message us on WhatsApp at +52 1 984 453 3472 if you want to talk through which session fits you.l elemento

Both, fluently. Lucas and Jazmin are native Spanish speakers, and we work daily with English-speaking clients from the U.S. and Canada. The session, the directions, the gallery delivery — all happen in whichever language you're more comfortable in.

Almost no one feels photogenic before a session. Almost everyone feels different after.
Our work isn't about hiring models — it's about catching the version of you that the people who love you already see. We direct angles, light, and moments to flatter, not to expose. If there's something specific you're self-conscious about, just tell us before the session. We've heard it all, and we plan for it.
